the challenge

Design enticing packaging for an object that is disposable, has no monetary value, and is otherwise undesirable.

The solution

Playing off of the versatility of a stick and its abundant potential as a toy for young kids, this packaging features boastful exclamatory verbiage of the supposed properties and endless possibilities of the product. Inspired by eye-catching vintage carnival advertising, the packaging combines loud, contrasting typography with a nostalgic Americana color palette to excite and entice audiences to this seemingly mundane object.
