Casey Cannon is a graduate from Tyler School of Art's rigorous design program where she received a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design as well as a minor in Art History. After an exciting run working as a graphic designer and project manager at the couture stationery shop Twig & Fig, she has shifted gears to focus on her true passion: branding and packaging design.
During her time at Twig & Fig, she has had the fortune to work with such notable clients as Credit Karma, Naples Winter Wine Festival, and Componere Fine Catering, for whom she designed couture event stationery and corporate promotional pieces. Using unique materials like wood, suede, acrylic, and metal she developed an aesthetic that represents the personality of each client. Her responsibilities included everything from meeting directly with clients to collaborating with outside vendors, creating production-ready mechanical files, and overseeing each stage of product development.
With a keen eye for typography and passion for organization, she greets every new project with unadulterated enthusiasm. She is incredibly passionate about the design process and thrives on pushing the limit when brainstorming new ideas. To quote the late David Bowie, "If you feel safe in the area you're working in, you're not working in the right area. Always go a little further into the water than you feel you're capable of being in. Go a little bit out of your depth, and when you don't feel that your feet are quite touching the bottom, you're just about in the right place to do something exciting."
