AValon
Avalon is an existing wine brand from Purple Brands. Looking to increase value perception, the brand wanted to pivot their identity towards a sense of classic luxury. The brand’s namesake, a reference to the legendary island of lush fruits where King Arthur was eventually laid to rest, drew to mind fairytales of knights and royalty in amidst the emerald hills of Britain. Drawing inspiration from these stories, the labels feature a classic, royal color palate with gold embossed accents. The central, intricate motif builds upon the brand’s existing clover symbol to create a design that is both distinct and deferential to Celtic knotwork. The overall label is kept simple and clean, allowing the knotwork to take center stage, embodying a royal presence.
