In honor of October's National Cyber Security Awareness Month, Salesforce launched Trustober—a company-wide event featuring talks about data privacy on social media, quantum computing threats, and the anatomy of a cyber attack. The event called for the addition of a new Salesforce mascot, a Doberman Pinscher guard dog done in the brand’s well-known illustration style. The challenge for this assignment was to create a guard dog illustration that felt alert and protective without feeling menacing. The event also required a web banner and emojis which feature the Trustober mascot.
